Grooming tips for every Business Women

In a male dominant business world, women not only need to use their skills but they also need to dress to impress. It is not only about attire, to complete the look women need to be well groomed and smart.
Client s are generally very impressed with a well dressed women who present her herself well, these women come across as very confident in their field of work which is enough to win over the client and seal the deal. Women, with a killer personal profile need to compliment it with their professional appearance.  You should never dress cheap and sexy outfits to get that important business deal.

Here are a few good grooming practices for successful business women,

·         Scents and perfumes in the workplace – make sure you don’t let your clients form an impression about you based on your perfume preference. Instead, opt for a very mild perfume or scent to work with an appropriate deodorant that is not equally overpowering.  Eventhough your favourite perfume is what makes you confident in a business setting, think twice about it, it’s your favourite perfume vs. client confidence.  You don’t need to trigger allergies and overpower the room with your perfume.

If you smoke, make sure to smoke someplace where your clothes will not absorb the smoke or change before an important meeting as the smell of smoke stays on your clothes.

·         Fingernails and hands – Since most of us use gestures using our hands it becomes an important focal point in a business meeting. You should have well manicured finger nails and hands that look smooth in a professional setting. Remember nail art and accessories are a “no” for an office environment.

·         Hair – You hair should be neat and well cut to suit your look and facial structure. You should seek grooming services Gold Coast, to give you a professional view of how you should cut and style your hair, without compromising your professional position, but also a hairstyle that you can easily fix in a hurry so that it will not change your professional appearance. Avoid hair colour that is not suitable or looks “sleazy”.
·         Makeup – You should keep you daily make up regime quick and simple. You should not be spending an hour in front of the mirror every day to make your face look great. Wearing too much makeup is as good as wearing no makeup at all.

·         Accessories – This should be kept very simple yet stylish and trendy. Avoid chunky jewelry that give your appearance a “noisy” look and never wear costume jewelry in vibrant colors. Keep ear ring, chains and bracelets as simple as possible.

Being well groomed and having a pleasant appearance scores very well with clients giving then a balance between your sales pitch, how you present yourself and your appearance.
